An ode to resourceful and resilient farm folk, The Homesteader is part of our mini lip balm collection celebrating the plants and growing spaces where we gather and grow. This is the firmest balm in the collection—yet still spreads easily and offers long-lasting protection. Its texture is reminiscent of classic farm-style balms, with great stay power for daily use.
The formula features grass-fed, pasture-raised beef tallow and sheep lanolin sourced from small, organic, regenerative farms. Lanolin is what makes this balm unique: it mimics the skin’s natural lipids, providing deep hydration, protective occlusion, and enhanced barrier support. Blended with antioxidant-rich Calendula, Peppermint, and Rosemary, this balm soothes, refreshes, and nourishes while giving a subtle herbal aroma reminiscent of a thriving homestead. Packaged in a home-compostable push-up tube made with plant-based inks, gums, and glue, it’s eco-conscious and skin-friendly.

Our products ship via USPS in 3-5 business days using USPS Ground or USPS Priority.
We do not accept returns for online orders, due to a recent influx of fraudulent or spam orders. If your package is lost in transit, we are not responsible for lost packages, and will not refund or reship in the event that your package is lost or stolen.
We will, however, accept in person returns within 14 days.
